Patients are responsible for keeping any correspondence emailed to them secure. AUA LLP cannot accept liability for loss of electronic personal information from patients’ devices. We routinely email clinic letters from a secure server, but patients may contact us if they wish to have paper based correspondence.
We are partnered with Medical Billing Direct Ltd (MBD) 09029591 for billing services and they collect fees and excess payments as per routine for all our patients. They are a GDPR compliant partner and registered at ICO as ZA351644 and all information is communicated securely by encrypted means. They may contact you via text message, email or post to settle outstanding invoices. The patient is ultimately responsive for payment of all fees and charges even if they have medical insurance which may partly cover their charges.
